A Collaborative Approach to Narrative Therapy
We practice from a narrative therapy perspective.
Narrative therapy differs from many approaches in that we do not position ourselves as experts who provide advice or solutions.
Instead, within our narrative therapy services, we engage in a collaborative process of inquiry - working together to understand what is at stake in your life and how you have been responding to it.

Therapeutic Letters & Reflections in Narrative Therapy
Often, both people and the struggles they are facing become reduced over time, flattened into familiar explanations or conclusions that no longer capture the complexity of what is actually being lived.
In our work, we take a different approach.
We seek to develop a richer understanding of both you and the challenges you are facing—recognizing that both you and what you are facing are far more interesting than they have been given credit for.

Therapeutic Letters & Reflections in Narrative Therapy
As part of this process, we offer therapeutic documents, including letters and poems, following our sessions.
These are careful retellings of our conversations, highlighting meanings, intentions, and responses that might otherwise go unnoticed, and supporting you in carrying these understandings forward into your life.
Over time, this work can open space for new possibilities and for a different relationship to the challenges you are facing.
